  • Contact lens evaluations
Dr Rudd is able to fit all types of contact lenses including Gas Permeable and Soft contact lenses. She is able to fit contact lenses for Astigmatism, Bifocals, Keratoconus, and also patients who have had Radial keratotomy (RK), Lasik and Penetrating Keratoplasty or Corneal Transplant. A contact lens evaluation is not included in what patients refer to as a “glasses exam”.   Please watch our contact lens insurance video for more information about insurance. Learn more about contact lens services.
  • Custom contact lenses
Dr. Rudd custom designs most of her Gas Permeable contact lenses. A custom designed gas permeable lens is more comfortable and provides clearer vision. All corneas and prescriptions are not the same.  Please watch this video to learn more about the custom designed WAVE lens.
  • Contact lenses for Keratoconus and post surgery corneas
Dr. Rudd has fit many patients with Keratoconus, Lasik surgery, RK surgery and corneal transplant surgery. Since she custom designs the gas permeable lens, they are more comfortable and healthier for the cornea.   Please watch this video to learn more about the custom designed WAVE lens.
  • Huge stock of soft contact lenses
99% of contact lens patients leave in new contacts the day of their eye examination.
  • Ortho-K
Ortho-K (short for orthokeratology) is a nonsurgical procedure using specially designed lenses to gently reshape the curvature of the eye while you sleep to improve vision. Ideal candidates are patients who do not want to wear contact lenses during the day and children who are beginning to be nearsighted. Recently Ortho-K has been shown to slow down the progression of nearsightedness or myopia. The studies also indicated that wearing glasses or contact lenses in nearsighted children makes the nearsightedness progress more rapidly. Learn more about Ortho-K.
  • Lens lab
We have an in office lab. If you need your glasses ASAP, let us know. We can make many lenses in our office without ordering from an outside laboratory. Learn more about eyeglasses.
  • Vision Therapy
Rather than a learning problem, your child may have a vision problem known as convergence insufficiency (CI). CI can cause difficulty with reading, which may make parents or teachers suspect that the child has a learning disability rather than an eye disorder. Learn more about vision therapy.
  • Binocular Vision Dysfunction
We can diagnose and treat for Binocular Vision Dysfunction, a condition that may cause headaches, blurry vision, dizziness, and difficulty reading, learning, and concentrating.  Learn More.
